Remedial and negative side membranes
Negative side applications of membranes may be options to protect against moisture ingress where a conventional ‘positive’ side application may not be feasible due to access and availability constraints.

Rising, lateral and falling salt damp
Salt damp is a common issue in structures where a damp-proof membrane may have degraded, is incorrectly installed allowing moisture to bridge the damp course and in some cases, where a DPC has not been installed at all. The results of damp can be blistering of painted surfaces, eroding of mortar joints and mould infestation, which can result in structural damage and, in the case of mold infestation, can have negative health implications, especially in people who have respiratory illness.
